Family Resource & Youth Services Centers

The Department of Family Resource and Youth Services Centers was initiated as

part of the  Kentucky Education Reform Act (KERA) of 1990, with school-based

centers created to address the needs of children and to enhance student’s

abilities to succeed in school. This is accomplished through partnerships,

program development, academic achievement, graduation, career planning,

physical/mental well-being, and successful transition in adult life.
